Regular Daytime Service

Apart from the Mantouya days, the Karamon-go also runs a regular daytime service on weekends and holidays (4 April – 29 November 2026, free of charge). The daytime service calls at four stops — the Ichijodani Asakura Clan Ruins Museum, the Shimokido Gate Ruins, Ichijodani Restaurant and the Restored Townscape — from around 9:00 to 17:00. Only the special Mantouya service runs to Parking Lot 4. Please check the Fukui Kotsu timetable for daytime departure times.

* The daytime service is operated by Fukui Kotsu. For enquiries about operations or lost property, please contact Fukui Kotsu (0776-27-5656). On some departures, participants of the Ichijodani Asakura Clan Ruins guided tour board first. The vehicle is a small bus (capacity 24).
