From the Asakura Clan ruins turn to a fantasy world
Ichijodani Asakura Clan Ruins, these historic ruins will be illuminated using about 15,000 candles.
In the evening, the candle lights along with the performances of Erhu (two-stringed Chinese violin) , Kocarina, and Garaku (ancient Japanese court music) create a fantastic atmosphere.
In the daytime, you can enjoy Jidai Gyoretsu (a procession of people in historical costumes) and a matchlock rifle performance at the simultaneously occurring Echizen Asakura Sengoku (Warring Kingdoms) Festival.
Come visit Mantoya with your family, friends, or someone special and create everlasting summer memories with us.
Enjoy the brilliant, candle-lit night scenery of the Asakura Clan Ruins while surrounded by nature.
All of our local volunteer staff members are looking forward to having you.
