which used to be performed in Northern part of Fukui prefecture.
Erhu (two stringed Chinese violin) performance / Big cartoon character of the year
The sound of Erhu (two stringed Chinese violin) creates even more fantastic atmosphere in the venue. Candles are arranged so that the illumination forms a large illustration nearby.
Display of local elementary students’ candles.
Every year, the local elementary students draw their dreams / wishes on the cups and display. The warmth of their thoughts and minds comfort the people passing by.
Nostalgic sound of Kokarina is performed here.
The garden of Suwa Mansion is the largest ruin in the site. Enjoy the fantastic atmosphere.
A Chinese character formed by candles.
The Chinese character of this year is “織Ori” (means “weaving”).
The view of the character from its top hill is fantastic.

Balloons with LED lights inside are displayed here. Watching floating colorful balloons is relaxing.

Large illustrations of the year
If you go up the hill, you will see large illustrations formed by the candles on the ground. This year’s illustrations are “Yumemaru-kun” and “Happiryu”.
